The most expensive home sale for the week of Jan. 2 was $1,575,000 for a six-bedroom, seven-bath house southeast of Sioux Falls.

The property, which is in an exclusive rural neighborhood, includes seven acres along the Big Sioux River, north of Good Earth State Park.
