Trudy Billion, Ed.D., MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has experience in business and human resources, including small-business ownership. She also serves as an instructor at the University of Sioux Falls, teaching in the MBA and doctorate in leadership programs. Through the Society for Human Resource Management, she also teaches a 10-week prep course for area HR professionals seeking certification.

Tammy Loos, MSAS, SHRM-CP, PHR, previously worked with Alternative HR from 2019 through 2022. She has over 20 years of experience in human resources management in various industries and offers a high level of expertise within the financial services industry and nonprofit sector. She also serves as an instructor of management with the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota.

Kevin Blondo is an architect. Blondo has more than 30 years of experience in planning, designing and managing architectural projects. His recent work has focused primarily on health care environments and laboratory spaces, most notably with Mayo Clinic and the M Health Fairview System.

Jordan Doring is the office manager. She previously has worked as an account executive, loan adviser and home mortgage consultant.

Bluestone Federal Credit Union

Brittany Petersen

Brittany Petersen has been named vice president of Bluestone Federal Credit Union. Petersen began her career in the credit union industry as a Bluestone teller in 2012. She advanced to lender, branch manager and then compliance and risk manager in 2020. She will move into the vice president role Jan 1, alongside Alayna Johnson, Bluestone’s new president.

First Interstate Bank has added two staff members.

Roy Haberstick has joined First Interstate Wealth Management as regional trust manager. Haberstick has eight years of experience in the financial industry, previously serving as a trust officer at Trident Trust Co., a senior fiduciary administrator at Wells Fargo and the managing director at CISA Trust Co.

Lawrence Falor has joined the bank as credit card fraud operations team lead. Falor has nine years of experience in the financial crimes and fraud areas, previously serving in multiple financial crimes specialist roles and as a manager in the debit card fraud department at Wells Fargo.

Joshua Reynolds

South Dakota Trade

Joshua Reynolds has joined South Dakota Trade as a program manager. Reynolds is a recent graduate of the USD Beacom School of Business who participated in Coyote Business Consulting in Clay and Minnehaha counties.
