A longtime gas station on 41st Street near Kiwanis Avenue is closing.

The last day in business for Speedway at 2911 W. 41st St. is Jan. 28.

A manager confirmed the closing but said she was not authorized to provide additional information.

Some merchandise is marked 50 percent off.

The business is owned by 7-Eleven, which acquired Speedway in 2021 from Marathon Petroleum Co. 7-Eleven did not respond to a request for information.

The property has been owned by SuperAmerica Group since 1991.

Speedway continues to be the brand for a franchise-owned gas station in Chamberlain.
