Unique Junque closes Sioux Falls store

Aug. 9, 2019

After a five-month run, Unique Junque has closed its Sioux Falls store and workshop, returning to its home base in Rowena.

Remington Cain opened the second location at 1510 E. 10th St. to sell repurposed furniture, home decor and handmade items that were overflowing in her original shop in the unincorporated town east of Sioux Falls.

Local makers who are part for the “Junque Team” and vendors who rented space also sold merchandise there.

The Sioux Falls store was open four days a week, and the Rowena shop was open one weekend a month. Now, the store is open every weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday

Remington also is bringing do-it-yourself workshops back to the Rowena store, which she opened four years ago.
