Southeast Sioux Falls retail tenants begin openings

March 3, 2023

Two new businesses are open, and others are underway at a new retail center in southeast Sioux Falls.

Year Round Brown has opened at 69th Street and Cliff Avenue in the Stadium Crossing development on the northeast corner.

The retail center, known as The Bloc, is “especially exciting for me,” said Zach Neugebauer, owner and CEO of Year Round Brown, because he now owns all the buildings where he has locations.

The previous one serving the neighborhood at 5008 S. Cliff Ave. was the last space he didn’t own.

The new space is more than double the size at 3,600 square feet.

“This new location represents the newest brand standards of Year Round Brown and features all new sun beds, spray tanning, red light therapy and 3 Degrees saunas,” Neugebauer said. “One of the things we pride ourselves on at Year Round Brown is making your weekly visit to our salons convenient. The Bloc features an oversized parking lot, and now that we have doubled our salon size, we have added extra equipment in each level in an effort to eliminate wait times.”

Hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The Bloc retail center also includes Cookie Co., which opened last month.

Starbucks, which includes a drive-thru, is scheduled to open in the coming week, and Gloss Nail Spa has sent a tentative opening in April.
