Sioux Falls attorney featured for longtime Masters trips
April 7, 2023
If honorary citizenship were granted to Augusta, Georgia, Sioux Falls attorney Vance Goldammer could make a solid case for it.
At least during the first full week in April, when Goldammer has attended the Masters Tournament for more than 30 years.
It began with an ad placed in The Augusta Chronicle in 1989, in which he offered to swap a pheasant hunting trip in South Dakota for Masters badges. The next year, it was World Series tickets. From there, lifelong friendships formed. Goldammer and his family are again in Georgia for this year’s golf tournament.
The streak recently caught the attention of Super Lawyers, a rating service for lawyers that also publishes content about the profession.
It featured Goldammer, an attorney at Redstone Law Firm, in this piece about his Masters experiences, which include playing on the course and witnessing what he calls the greatest shot in the history of golf.
