“A couple of weeks ago, we heard from a local shop owner who told us an out-of-state visitor stopped in after reading about the business in the Visitor Guide who had picked it up at the airport after landing in Sioux Falls,” ESF CEO Teri Schmidt said.

“We know that visitors are anxious to experience our community, so it’s exciting to know a small business was positively impacted as a direct result from our Visitor Guide.”

Although the guide is intended primarily for visitors to Sioux Falls, locals are eager to use it when looking for things to do and new places to eat.

“Whether you’re making plans with a group of friends or planning a staycation, the Sioux Falls Visitor Guide serves as an inspirational publication for the many hidden gems,” Schmidt said. “Locals may even discover something new.”

While you’re out and about this year in Sioux Falls, be on the lookout for a new city bus wrapped with a welcome message created by ESF.

“During the design phase for this year’s wrap, we wanted to have something that appealed to both visitors and residents, and we think we achieved that with the abstract design of the Falls,” Schmidt said.

“We’re excited to see it hit the streets, and we hope the public loves it as much as we do.”

With rotating routes throughout the city, this bus will be running in every part of Sioux Falls for a period of time all year long.
