Searching for a classic vehicle? This auction is for you

July 17, 2023

This paid event listing is sponsored by The Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction.

Bid on more than 100 classic and collector cars at an auction this weekend that’s expected to draw national interest.

The popular Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction returns for its third annual event Saturday, July 22, at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Doors open at 8 a.m. with bidder registration and vehicle inspection. The memorabilia/road art auction begins at 9:30 a.m. The classic car auction starts at 10 a.m.

Bidders can vie for everything from a stunning 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air to a classic 1970 Toyota Landcruiser and a gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle.

“Once again, the Sioux Falls area has stepped up with some incredible cars that we know buyers will love,” co-organizer Craig Gould said.

“Whether you go home with a vehicle or not, it’s a great opportunity to appreciate these classics, meet some like-minded collectors and have a good time.”

While the main event is Saturday, car lovers won’t want to miss a preview Friday, July 21, that includes hearing from industry experts.

Representatives of Hagerty Classic Car Insurance, an American automotive lifestyle and membership company, will deliver a State of the Collector Car Market presentation from 6 to 7 p.m.

A $10 entry fee covers admission on both days, and those 12 and younger are free.

And for a second year, Lev Promotions will hold a Classic Car & Collectibles Swap Meet in the Sioux Falls Arena from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the swap meet is free.

“We have many repeat guests, and we’re excited to celebrate with everyone interested in classic and collectible cars,” Gould said.

“We also have some availability to consign additional cars, so if you have one to sell, reach out soon.”

For information, call Gould at 406-698-7930, email [email protected], or visit the website at classiccarauction.us. Admission is paid at the event.
