Roundhouse Brew Pub plans outdoor dining expansion
April 8, 2022
Roundhouse Brew Pub plans to enhance its outdoor seating this patio season.
The restaurant opened last year on 69th Street east of Cliff Avenue.
A project planned for this spring would cover the area closest to the front of the building with a roof and windbreak, along with adding two garage doors, co-owner Jason Walsh said.
That would allow about a half-dozen tables to be covered and another six to be in the sun.
“The ultimate goal is to also have the covered tables for the winter months, but we have some work to do with the city to build some half-walls,” Walsh said.
The garage doors on the front of the building could be opened when the weather is nice.
The owners also are working with Harrisburg High School welding students to create an outer railing for the patio.
Once the work begins, construction of the roof should take less than a week, Walsh said. The students plan to have the railing done by the end of the school year.
