The most expensive residential sale for the week of Aug. 23 was $1,750,000 for a home and guest house in the Riverview Heights neighborhood in west-central Sioux Falls.

At 8,500 square feet, the main house has seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The great rooms feature exposed wood beams, and one has a three-sided brick fireplace. The master wing has an office, workout room and kitchenette. The master spa bath has two walk-in closets. The garage has nine stalls.

The guest house has 3,200 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The homes sit on a 1-acre lot with an in-ground pool and hot tub. Landscaping includes a waterfall, paved patio and fireplace.
