Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar has a new pizza size for a limited time: the SquareFooter. The 12-inch pizza with nine squares is $24 and comes in four varieties: Pepperoni & Bacon, Pineapple Express with chicken, Mushroom Cheesesteak and Sausage & Peppers.

Applebee’s is offering free boneless wings on Mondays with a $10 purchase if a defensive player returns an interception for a touchdown during a Sunday NFL game. Check the website to see if he NFL Pick 6 offer is available.

Brioux Falls has started serving soup on Wednesdays. Rotating offerings are broccoli cheddar and creamy baked potato. The coffee shop in The Steel District hopes to start offering bread bowls as an option by next week. New holiday drinks are peppermint mocha, cranberry Lotus and cranberry apple cider. The coffee shop is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.

Watecha Bowl got some national press as part of Native American Heritage Month coverage on CBSnews.com. Owner Lawrence West, a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, talked about Indigenous foods, along with Oglala Sioux chef Sean Sherman of Owamni in Minneapolis, who was born in Pine Ridge, and a third restaurant owner from Denver. “We all are on the same mission of food sovereignty,” West said in the article. “And introducing the world to Native American food.” Find the report here.

Features for December at Maribella Ristorante are pollo cacciatore with mashed potatoes and broccolini as the entree and Torta di Natale, a miniature chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, topped with confectioner’s sugar, raspberry and mint, for dessert. Sister restaurant R Wine Bar & Kitchen is offering lobster and shrimp risotto and eggnog cheesecake as features this month.

The December Lucy of the Month at Crooked Pint Ale House is the Sweet Pepper Lucy. The burger is stuffed with pepperjack cheese and topped with a spicy plum sauce, fried jalapenos, haystack onions and habanero jack cheese.

Chef Lance’s on Phillips has a new three-course menu for December that’s available in addition to the full menu.

Harvester Kitchen by Bryan has new menus for December. The HK Signature menu has seven courses and desserts with the option to add wine pairings. The chef’s menu and plant-based menu each are four courses with dessert, with options to add additional courses and wine pairings. Find them here.

Seasonal treats and cocktails are on the menu at MacKenzie River Pizza, Pub & Grill. The Merry Mack Lovin’ offers a treat for you and for kids in need. The warm double chocolate chip cookie is served warm with peppermint ice cream and a chocolate drizzle. For each order, $1 goes to Toys for Tots. Featured beverages include the White Christmas Mojito, Bad Santa, Kentucky Hot Chocolate and three martinis: Snowghost, Gingerbread and Candy Canetini.

If you’re a fan of Rice Krispie bars, Noodles & Company is offering limited-edition Crispy flavors every week in December. New flavors drop on Mondays. Up this week: s’mores. Earlier this fall, the chain introduced three new pasta dishes: Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi and Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo.

The December drink specials at Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Cafe & Bakery are based on classic holiday movies like “The Grinch” and “Frozen.” Try The Grinch Matcha, Buddy’s Latte, Polar Express Hot Chocolate, The Santa Clause Cold Press, Frosty the Snowman Soda and Olaf’s Warm Hug.

Coffea Roasterie has released specialty drinks at each location. Dawley: Gingerbread Latte and Spice Orange Mocha; Louise: Eggnog Chai and Pear Balsamic Sparkling Espressor; and downtown: Forager’s Brew.

The featured $6 margarita for December at Chili’s Grill & Bar is The Merry Maker. The drink, which comes with a reusable ‘stache straw has Lunazul Blanco tequila, Cointreau, Monin Blackberry, strawberry puree and fresh sour.

If you’ve been missing Covert Artisan Ales since the downtown taproom closed, there are still several places to drink it on tap or buy it by the can until the taproom reopens at the west-side brewery. Find draft offerings at JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars; Monks Ale House; Glacial Lakes Distillery & Brewhouse; and JL Beers on Western Avenue. Retail locations include JJ’s, Pomegranate Market, WilLiquors, Taylor’s Pantry, Sioux Falls Food Co+op and Hy-Vee stores on Louise, Minnesota and Sycamore avenues. Its newest release is Cherry Black Current Liquid Streusel.

La Plaza Fiesta is donating 10 percent of all sales Sunday to Hungry Hearts, which works to make sure every student in the Sioux Falls School District has a hot lunch.

Both locations of Lucky’s are offering a free domestic tap beer or single well drink for each item donated to their holiday gift drives. Items donated at the downtown bar will be given to the Children’s Home Society of South Dakota. Lucky’s on Louise is collecting items for the Minnehaha County Juvenile Detention Center.

Order the featured cocktail for December at Glacial Lakes Distillery & Brewhouse and the bar will donate $1 to The Kitten League. Paws Out is a blend of grape-infused vodka, housemade strawberry syrup, lemon juice and lemon-lime soda.

Yakkity Yak Coffee Shack is having breakfast with Santa on Saturday. Santa will be there from 9 a.m. to noon, and Elf on the Shelf will pop in from 10 to 11 a.m. The all-you-can-eat waffle bar will be available, along with a hot chocolate bar.

Chef Jeni & Co. is having its annual holiday market and open house Saturday. Stop by the catering company at 3638 S. Southeastern Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to buy holiday treats from Chef Jeni and Christmas gifts from a variety of vendors. Owner Jeni Thomas said she’ll be selling lefse, five varieties of soup, Chex mix, caramel corn and cookies. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be served.

Great Shots is hosting Cookies With Santa from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Stop out for free photos with Santa, cookies, hot cocoa and crafts. Bring a toy for the venue’s toy drive, and get a card for a free hour of golf.

Fryn’ Pan restaurants have extended their “door-buster” special that started in November. Get the Fryn’ Pan Breakfast with two eggs, two strips of bacon and two hot cakes for $4 through this month. The special price is available from 6 to 11 a.m. weekdays.

Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews has a new special for two people to share. The Toolbox Trio is $30. Choose pretzel bites, fried pickles or boneless wings to share, get two Garage Burgers with fries or tots, and share a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry malt.

Popeyes is offering discount dining headed into the holidays. The Festive Family Box for $20 has four pieces of bone-in chicken, four chicken tenders, four sides and four biscuits. Rewards members also will benefit with the Midday Mardi Gras Happy Hour. Deals for $2, $3 and $5 are available from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

And if you’re a KFC fan, the chain has a $26 Festive Feast with six chicken tenders, six pieces of bone-in chicken, two large sides and sauces.

Two favorite Olive Garden entrees that haven’t been served since 2020 have returned. Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo and Stuffed Chicken Marsala are back on the menu.

McRib sandwiches are back on the menu at McDonald’s for a limited time.

Changes in hours, service

  • Stensland Family Farms has new hours for winter: 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday and 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
  • Intoxibakes and Candy Cloud Factory have new hours for winter: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
  • 212 The Boiling Point in Brandon is no longer serving lunch on weekdays. New hours are 3 p.m. to close Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to close Saturday and Sunday.
  • Critters Bar in Crooks is open now daily. It has added hours on Mondays of 3 p.m. to close.
