Pizza Cheeks has created a “quick and affordable lunch.” The mix-and-match combo for $12 is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Railbird’s Sports Bar has new $7 lunch specials for April. They’re available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Here’s a meal deal for lunch in Harrisburg at Union Social Club. Get a half-sandwich or half-wrap with soup or a side salad for $8. Soup choices rotate between tomato bisque and chicken wild rice. The special is good from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Granite City Food & Brewery has added a limited-time Tasty for 2 menu, starting at $25. It includes an appetizer and two entrees and is available for dine-in or takeout. “We know that recently dining out has started to feel like a splurge, and we want you to know we’re here for you,” the restaurant said in a social media post.

Applebee’s has a new 2 for $25 menu, featuring options of the Hot Honey Glazed Chicken & Bacon Skillet, Garlic Sirloin Skillet and a 6-ounce sirloin. In addition to an entree and side salad for each diner, they get an appetizer to share. The offer is good for dine-in, takeout or delivery. The restaurant’s Really Big Meal Deal lineup has a new addition: the Bangin’ Burger featuring a “secret sauce” made with jalapenos and bacon. Really Big Meal Deal choices are served with endless fries and unlimited fountain drink refills for $10.

Polar Bites is celebrating the opening of its season with Free Shaved Ice Friday. From 3 to 7 p.m., get a kiddie-sized, single-flavor treat at the converted shipping container stand at 501 E. 41st St. To start, hours will be noon to 9 p.m. daily.

Sunny’s Pizzeria recently crowned its Menu Madness winner after a bracket-style competition of its pizzas. The winner is Honey and the Beaze. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering $5 off the winner this week. If you order online, use the code CHAMPION.

Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe is celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day on Saturday with a $5 discount on a grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of soup of your choice. If you order online, use the code GRILLEDCHEESE.

Blarney Stone Pub is selling $5 John Daly’s through Sunday to celebrate watching The Masters. The drink is a mixture of vodka, lemonade and iced tea.

Lava’s Coffee in Harrisburg is showing thanks to public service workers in April with a 10 percent discount. That includes the April drink specials.

Dahlia Kitchen + Bar has added brunch on Saturday and Sunday. There are dishes like Steak and Eggs Avocado Toast-adas, Pollo Verde Masa Pancakes, Churro Pancakes, Chorizo & Yuca Breakfast Crunchwrap and Holy Trinity Breakfast Nachos, which are shown in the featured photo at the top of the page. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. along with the regular menu.

Along with several new menu items, Maribella Ristorante has added “speciali del giorno,” or daily specials. Tuesday is Pizza of the Day, Wednesday features Lasagna of the Day, Thursday is Piccata of the Day, Friday is Fish of the Day and Saturday is Chef’s Special. New menu items are Melanzane, which is a variation of eggplant parmesan; Liguria and Massimo pizzas; Ragazza and Orecchiette pasta dishes; Lamb Gnocchi; and Osso Buco. Andrea Kuipers, co-owner of Squealer’s Smoke Shack in Tea, recently learned that she’s gluten-intolerant, so that sparked her to create a menu of gluten-free options. “A lot of our menu items are gluten-free anyway, but I just wanted to introduce more options and less confusion” for diners, she said.

Intoxibakes’ boozy cupcakes and baked goods are available now in Lennox. They’re being sold at the American Legion Post 174.

The April menu items for Saturday brunch at R Wine Bar & Kitchen are a casserole with egg whites, ground beef, red pepper, onion, mushroom, spinach and mozzarella with a side of breakfast potatoes and the dish shakshuka, which is two eggs poached in tomato sauce with red pepper, onion and cherry tomatoes, served with a small garden salad and bread or gluten-free crackers. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The taco of the month at Dahlia Kitchen + Bar is the fried pork loin taco. It includes panko-breaded pork loin, Oaxaca cheese, mole aioli, butter lettuce and pickled red onion.

The macaron of the month flavor at CH Patisserie is strawberry mojito.

Lemon blueberry is the seasonal flavor at Nothing Bundt Cakes. It’s available in all sizes and will be sold until May 25 or while supplies last.

Dairy Queen’s summer Blizzard menu has arrived and includes two treats from the “DQ Freezer.” Returning favorites are confetti cake and cotton candy. New flavors are Mixing Bowl Mashup with brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough and Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake. The customer-choice flavor is S’mores.

The new spring menu at Zooks Coffee Bar in Tea features herbal, floral and fruit notes. Options include Flower Patch Latte with rose, lavender syrup, milk and espresso; Blackberry Lavender Lemonade; and Blackberry Vanilla Matcha Latte.

Featured drinks for April at The Breaks Coffee Roasting Co. are Fake Spring and Debra, both iced drinks. Fake Spring features espresso, orange honey syrup and lemon juice on ice, topped off with sparkling water, a garnish of rose petals and an orange peel twist. The vegan drink Debra is ceremonial-grade matcha with coconut syrup, sparkling water and vanilla coconut cream cold foam.

JJ’s Bar has new cocktails for the season. Clockwise from the upper left are Midnight Tea, Springtime Spritz, Mr. Bendo’s Basil Bliss, Dr.’s Elixir, Joe Says Mahalo, Pineapple Pleasure and Punch the Stars, featuring JJ’s 5th Edition Single Barrel Elijah Craig.

DaDa Gastropub has a rainbow-colored lineup of new cocktails: Red Right Hand, Orange Color Queen, Golden Hour, Green Light, Blue Velvet and Purple Stain. There’s also a featured mocktail: the Gullah Gullah.

The east-side Attic Bar & Grill and the adjoining Ass’ociates & Co. have a new spring drink menu. Offerings include the Bee’s Knees, Berry A** Bourbon Popsicle, The Southside and Sweet A** Sherbert.

Changes in hours, service
- Falls Overlook Cafe has opened for the season. Spring hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
- Fernson Downtown and Fernson Coffee + Tea have expanded hours for spring and summer: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- Big Sioux Burger has added online ordering.
- BB’s Pub has added its breakfast menu to DoorDash’s delivery offerings. The items are served from 8 to 11 a.m. daily.
