Get a jump on holiday shopping and even make a one-of-a-kind gift of your own when Junkin’ Market Days returns to Sioux Falls this November.
The popular shopping event will be Nov. 14-15 at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall. Hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 14 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15.
“We will have a building full of small-business owners from a five-state area at the event,” owner Kerry Bamsey said.
“Many of our vendors sell their items full time and rely on community support. The event was moved to November this year so customers can support local small businesses while completing their holiday shopping.”
Vendors will offer a range of items including:
- Shabby chic home decor
- Rustic furniture
- Jewelry
- Boutique clothing
- Bath/body products
- Gourmet food
- Candles
A new make-and-take section also will offer a fun experience and the chance to create a personalized gift — or memorable item for yourself.
“If you are interested in making the craft, you will pay the vendor for the supplies, and they will provide instructions on how to make the craft,” Bamsey said. There will also be DIY kits for sale from the make-and-take vendors.”
Make-and-take crafts include:
- Sourdough starter
- Custom clay necklace
- Room spray
- Candle bar
- Charm necklace
- Custom door mats
- Hat bar
- Fall scarecrow
- Upcycled sweater pumpkins
