Sioux Falls-based Panther Graphics LLC has acquired the ColorFX business in Boyden, Iowa.

Several Boyden employees and the location’s customer list will transition to Panther, which is based at 321 N. Kiwanis Ave. in Sioux Falls. Panther isn’t buying the physical location.

Panther was founded in 1986 and provides services that include traditional and digital printing, mailing and logistics, signage and large format, apparel and engraving.

ColorFX is closing its Boyden facility but continues to operate in other cities across the U.S.

“Panther’s commitment to solutions and their capabilities mirror those of ColorFX. We believe customers will embrace this change, and we are excited by the opportunity to serve them,” said Panther Graphics CEO and owner Justin Feickert.

Panther plans to hire about 10 people to support the added business, including ColorFX senior account manager Gary Klarenbeek.
