Nyberg’s Ace will expand to Watertown

Nyberg’s Ace plans to open a store in Watertown.
It will be the sixth location for the retailer and the first outside of Sioux Falls.
“We are excited about being part of the Watertown community. Watertown is a wonderful city with incredible growth and retail opportunity,” president Kevin Nyberg said in a statement. “Nyberg’s Ace has many products and services that the community can benefit from that are not currently available in the city.”
The Watertown store will occupy 23,000 square feet of a former Shopko building. It will include hardware categories such as the EGO and Craftsman brands, Magnolia Home and Benjamin Moore Paint and a complete Grill ‘n Smoke department with brands such as Weber, Traeger, Big Green Egg and Blackstone. There also will be a bird feeding department, housewares and a full lawn and garden center.
“We have always prided ourselves on helpful, convenient service,” Nyberg said. “This expansion to Watertown will allow us to increase many product offerings to the Watertown community.”
The plan is to open in the spring.
