The city’s newest cookie shop arrives this week in southeast Sioux Falls.

Cookie Co. plans to open Saturday in a new retail center on the northeast corner of 69th Street and Cliff Avenue.

“We’ve had overwhelming support from the community and neighborhood,” franchisee Sarah Storm said. “We’ve lived here for 17 years, so we obviously knew what a great city this is and how wonderful the people are. But the excitement and support that’s been shown to us has been incredible. We feel so grateful and are so excited.”

Cookie Co. offers four cookie flavors each week: chocolate chip and three that rotate.

The cookies for opening day are chocolate chip, chocolate turtle, raspberry cheesecake and frosted sugar.

“Something that sets us apart is we make everything complete from scratch each day using real eggs — no pre-cracked mixtures — real butter and real sugar,” Storm said.

The shop is mostly staffed but could use a couple more employees. Apply here. 

On opening day, guests can enter for the chance to win free cookies for a year, and the first 20 customers will receive a free cookie cutter. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Cookie Co. is part of a new retail center that will include Starbucks, Year Round Brown and Gloss Nails. There’s also a Casey’s General Store and a B&G Milkyway coming to the corner.
