The most expensive home sale for the week of June 16 was almost $6.8 million for a house in south Sioux Falls.

The 8,500-square-foot house is being built by Skogen Inc. in the Prairie Tree neighborhood. The previous house on the lot was sold for $900,000 in 2022 and torn down. The new home will have five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to the Lincoln County Director of Equalization office, which has yet to do a final check of the house.
