The former Younkers space at The Empire Mall has been turned temporarily into a big Halloween store.

Spirit Halloween opens today with its largest location ever at the mall. The superstore has a big selection of costumes, accessories and decorations.

Here’s what other changes are in progress at the mall:

Lululemon moves back

Athleisure store lululemon has moved out of its temporary location and back into its remodeled 3,000-square-foot space, which is located adjacent to Oakley and Halberstadt’s near the food court.

American Eagle temporarily relocates

American Eagle Outfitters has moved into a temporary space near Applebee’s as its permanent spot is remodeled. It will be closed Oct. 1 and 2 and open back in its regular space Oct. 3.

Candy Clubhouse moving

Candy Clubhouse will be moving into a space near Sanford Children’s Play Area and Renegade, across the hall from its current location, in earl -November. The Candy Clubhouse will remain open in its current location until the new store opening.

Westmoor Music moves

Westmoor Music has a new location next to Ashcroft & Oak in the Macy’s wing.

Firehouse opening

Firehouse Subs is close to opening in the food court. While a date hasn’t been set, it will be before the end of the month.

Zales updating

Zales is undergoing a modern remodel with both the inside and outside of the store receiving a face-lift.
