Dzenan Berberovic, chief philanthropy officer at Avera Health, has been named to the 2023 Class of Tomorrow’s Leaders by the Catholic Health Association of the United States. Berberovic joins nine other emerging leaders nationwide on this list. Since becoming chief philanthropy officer in March 2020, Berberovic has led his team to achieve record-setting fundraising years in 2020, 2021 and 2022, raising a total of $118 million to support those who trust Avera with their care. Under his leadership, the Avera Foundation has been recognized by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy with High Performer and System High Performer distinctions. High Performers represent the top 25 percent of health care foundations and philanthropy offices throughout the U.S. and Canada. Berberovic joined Avera in 2017.

Rebecca Lange, a direct support professional at LifeScape, has received the DSP of the Year award from the American Network of Community Options and Resources. Lange joins 53 other recipients who were chosen from a pool of more than 350 nominees.
