Eighteen individuals and businesses have been nominated for the annual Hey Sioux Falls awards, which celebrate the Sioux Falls startup and entrepreneurial community.

The event is a collaboration of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship and 1 Million Cups.

Social Impact of the Year

• ACE Academy
• Hurdle Life Foundation
• South Dakota Voices for Peace

The awards will be held May 20 at 6 p.m. It will be a hybrid event with a virtual and in-person component. Tickets are $10 and seating at the Orpheum will be socially distanced in smaller groups to provide a safe environment. Masks are required.
