A Mediterranean-inspired wellness business has opened inside The Bancorp Building at Cherapa Place, specializing in IV drips and other therapeutics, along with weight loss and aesthetics.

“It turned out really well; we’re very happy,” owner Jenny Haiar said.

“The Mediterranean spa feel is what we’re going for, hitting all five senses. We’re creating a Mediterranean sky, and we got huge olive trees and a fountain.”

Iv&co opened in 2022 in south Sioux Falls as the first elective IV infusion center in the area, offering infusion, injection and oxygen treatments designed to do everything from treat a hangover to boost immunity. Aesthetic services include injectables such as Botox, Jeuveau and Xeomin treatments and light therapy.

With the move to Cherapa Place at 345 N. Reid Place, the business went from 1,000 to 1,600 square feet.

“We needed more space, and it was nice to go there because it was a blank slate, and I wanted to be downtown because our clients come from everywhere, even outside of town,” Haiar said. “We’re operating fully and open, and it’s now our only location.”

With the new location, “we’re going to focus a lot on genetic testing,” she added. “You can test for IBS, Crohn’s or celiac, vitamin nutrition deficiencies, and you can do a nutrition profile.”

The business also does immune system testing and offers semaglutide and tirzepatide, which some patients are using for weight loss.

“That’s been really popular,” Haiar said. “And we’re revamping our membership program to offer more options for memberships.”

There’s also a wine club that offers a monthly subscription, ranging from two bottles to a case.

“I’m a sommelier, and we have wine and beer for guests, so we have it here,” Haiar said. “We’ve already started it, and people can sign up online or call.”

The move to Cherapa “allows us to be part of the campus they’re creating here,” she added. “I love the architecture, and they’ve been super flexible with just a ton of support. There’s plenty of parking, and all our clients coming in have been able to easily park and find us, and they’re super supportive and happy.”

Adding iv&co has been “an instant complement to the rest of the Cherapa community,” said co-developer Anne Haber of Pendar Properties.

“As we’re beginning to work with additional retailers, there’s very much a theme of commitment to total wellness, locally sourced and owned businesses and tenants whose offerings make sense side by side and within a broader place where people live and work.”

Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekend.
