Look inside featured lakefront home on Fall Parade

Sept. 7, 2023

This paid event listing is sponsored by the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire.

A lakefront home with an outdoor pool and a lot of subtle surprises is waiting for visitors to tour the next two weekends.

The home at 9504 W. Lakeside Circle in the Cherry Lake Reserve neighborhood was built by Top Construction and is valued at more than $2 million.

“We’re really happy with the way this turned out and excited to show people what we’ve done here,” builder Doug Top said.

The home is filled with “modern, showstopping features,” he said. That includes a floating staircase, 20-foot ceilings, quartz accents throughout and a lower level that includes a theater room and golf simulator.

But before you start planning your own move, Top reminders buyers to think about the timeline.

“We were working on a plan for this house for at least a year, and it’s a year build for this project,” he said. “The bigger the houses get, it does take a little more planning, but the builders do have some availability right now, and it’s a great opportunity to get out and interview a builder to see who might be a good fit for you.”

Fall Parade of Homes

The work of 32 builders will be featured on the 2023 Fall Parade of Homes, which will be held Sept. 9-10 and Sept. 16-17 from 1 to 5 p.m. The event from the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire will feature four dozen homes across the Sioux Falls area for many budgets.

Admission is free for most tours, but there is a $5 donation to tour each featured home.
