Mulberry Market has moved from the west side of Sioux Falls to The Empire Mall.

The store, which represents dozens of local vendors, opened this week in part of the space that used to be Renegade, across from Applebee’s.

It’s relocated from 5303 W. 41st St., next to Marion Road.

Jamie Bendewald became the new owner Mulberry Market at the beginning of this month. Bendewald, who owns an online boutique called J Elle Boutique, decided to move the market to the mall for increased visibility and foot traffic, she said.

She’ll be carrying her apparel and accessories there and quickly filled up with vendors.

Shoppers will find a wide range of merchandise, including clothing, home decor and gift items. There’s one central checkout area.

Bendewald has room for a few additional vendors, she said.

The former Mulberry Market space will host pop-ups for the rest of the month.
