Kirkland’s to open next week

Home decor store Kirkland’s is expected to open next week at Lake Lorraine.
Hiring is going well, field recruiter Kim Loechelt said, with some part-time and temporary positions for retail and stock team members still available.
“We’re in a good place with a leadership, and we would still love to hire a few more folks,” Loechelt said. “We had an internal leader come over to Sioux Falls as the store manager, and we added external talent to the management team, and they’ve hired 15 or 16 part-time folks to help. We’re excited to be in the state.”
Those not familiar with Kirkland’s will find it offers a broad variety of merchandise, she said.
“We’re a home decor store – furniture, art, mirrors, lighting, pillows, rugs, holiday decor, gifts. It’s a wide assortment, but it’s a specialty store all about home decor.”
