A ranch walkout house in south Sioux Falls topped the list of the most expensive residential sales for the week of Aug. 26 at $1.4 million.

The 4,000-square-foot house was built in 1990 on a three-quarter-acre lot in the Pennbrook Heights neighborhood. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Features include a covered outdoor kitchen and living room with a fireplace that overlooks an in-ground pool, barrel sauna, hot tub and firepit. Both levels of the home have two-sided stone fireplaces.
