A brick home in south Sioux Falls that sold for almost $1.8 million topped the list of the most expensive residential transactions for the week of Dec. 18.

The 5,400-square-foot home is on a 1-acre lot in the Vista Ridge neighborhood near 57th Street and Minnesota Avenue. It was built in 1966 and has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features three fireplaces and a backyard that’s next to a wooded area. It sold for almost $1.3 million in July 2022 and for $625,000 in March 2021.

Two other homes topped the million-dollar mark.
