Grab business sense at chamber workshops

The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a series of Business Sense workshops in March that are open to members and the public.

The sessions run from noon to 1 p.m. at the chamber, 200 N. Phillips Ave. The cost is $10, and participants can bring their lunch. Register with Lauren Fosheim at [email protected] or 373-2009.

Here’s what’s ahead:

MARCH 14

Building Customer Loyalty: Using the power of humor and stories, this session with Richard Ambrosius, will share the value of retaining customers and turning them into raving fans.  Ambrosius is the founder and principal of Positive Aging LLC.

MARCH 21

Ethical Decision-Making:  This session with Martha Helland will help you discover your personal ethical lens and how it impacts your behavior and decision-making in your organization. Helland is an associate professor at the University of Sioux Falls’ Vucurevich School of Business.

MARCH 28

Analytics & Your Brand: During this workshop, you can develop a simple marketing analytics tool, using resources that you already have at your disposal, to measure branding effectiveness. The presenter is Mike Vetter, president and CTO of DataSync Corp.
