Glacial Lakes Distillery is closing its doors in downtown Sioux Falls.

The Watertown-based distillery announced that Feb. 2 will be the last day at 200 S. Main Ave. It expanded there in 2021.

“While this chapter is ending, Glacial Lakes Distillery itself will continue operating,” the business said in a statement. “Unfortunately, in the current economic climate, we’re no longer able to sustainably maintain our downtown Brewhouse location.”

The final week will include “killer specials,” including a chili cook-off on Sunday with The Orion Pub and Full Circle Book Co-Op.

“To everyone we’ve met along the way — thank you. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the celebrations, the late nights and the community you helped create here. You will be deeply missed,” the business said.

“Our hope has always been that every person left a little better than when they arrived — whether with a great memory, a good time or simply someone willing to listen.”
