Sioux Falls-based Furniture Mart USA has grown by seven stores with the addition of a Minnesota furniture company.

Becker Furniture, which has served Minnesota for more than 45 years, has become part of the company founded by Bill Hinks in 1977, bringing Furniture Mart to 31 stores in Minnesota plus 36 additional locations in Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Becker Furniture employs more than 100 people at its stores in Becker, Blaine, Burnsville, Maple Grove, Maplewood, Minnetonka and Woodbury along with its main distribution center in Becker.  Former owner Joel Huseby has joined the Furniture Mart USA leadership team and will assist in the transition for continued growth and continuity.

Furniture Mart USA is the nation’s 32nd largest furniture retailer.
