Ready to get out of the house, do a little spring shopping and entertain the kids this Easter season?

Dawley Farm Village has tons of fun, free events happening in the next couple of days that are worth checking out.

Masters challenge

OK, so it’s not Augusta, but Masters Tournament fans and amateur golfers alike will feel right at home today at the First Bank & Trust Dawley Farm branch.

The bank is turning its lobby into a putting contest from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants will have three tries to get their name entered for a $100 Hy-Vee gift card and other prizes. You do not need to be a customer of the bank to participate.

Meet the author

Come back to the bank Saturday for a book signing by Megan DeVos, who will sign her new book “Annihilation,” the final book in her Anarchy collection, beginning at 10 a.m.

When you’re there, don’t miss the new spring featured drinks at Coffea Roasterie, which has added a jade tea latter, a lavender latte and the new Floral & Fawn, which combines jasmine green tea, hibiscus, honey, apples, strawberries and oat milk.

Easter egg hunt

Kidtopia holds its ninth annual Easter egg hunt Saturday. It starts at 10 a.m. at the Dawley Farm location and goes until the eggs are found.

Once each child finds four eggs, he or she will receive a fifth and final egg with a chance for one of 50 bigger prizes. There will be 1,000 eggs at each store.

Pets meet the bunny

Bring your pets to meet the Easter Bunny this weekend at PetSmart at Dawley Farm Village.

The bunny will appear from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for free photos with your pet.
