Fleet Farm plans to open its first Sioux Falls store May 31.

The 185,000-square-foot store is across from the Sanford Sports Complex at 3035 W. Fleet St.

It also includes a convenience store.

The Wisconsin-based retailer carries a broad range of merchandise including fishing, hunting and outdoor products, auto parts, farm and pet supplies, home improvement and household goods, clothing and footwear, toys and food, plus services such as fuel, car wash and auto repair.

Fleet Farm has had success hiring, its general manager said, and plans to employ about 150 people.

The retailer has 43 stores across the Midwest.
