Fernson Brewing to reopen north-side taproom

July 16, 2025

Closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic five years ago except for FernsonFest and private events, the taproom at the brewery for Fernson Brewing Co. reopens Thursday with regular hours.

“We have wanted to do it for a while but finally have the staff to make it happen,” said Cole Casper, brand manager.

Hours for the taproom at the north-side brewery will be 3 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 1 to 7 p.m. Saturdays.

The brewery and taproom at 1400 E. Robur Drive, which is north of Interstate 90 and east of Cliff Avenue, opened in 2015. A second taproom opened in downtown in 2016, moving to its current location at 334 S. Phillips Ave. in 2019.

In addition to Fernson beer on tap, the brewery taproom will serve the new Totally Rad Eats pizzas and pretzel bites.

The space is dog- and kid-friendly and also has a patio.
