Dunn Brothers Coffee started serving sandwiches, wraps and pizzas today.

The menu is part of a national rollout for the coffee chain, but everything is made fresh on-site, said Abby Teunissen who owns the local franchise at 5320  E. Arrowhead Parkway with her husband, Lucas, and her sister and brother-in-law, Alaina and Dylan Huyser.

“This is the next level, and we’re excited,” she said.

The coffee shop had been serving breakfast sandwiches all day, and those will continue to be served from opening to closing, Teunissen said.

The entire menu will be available all day, she said, making it possible for someone to pick up a sandwich with their morning coffee on their way to work.

There are seven sandwiches: Tuscan Turkey, The Ultimate Club, Bacon Grilled Cheese, California Chicken,  Almond Chicken Salad, Italian and Ham & Brie. For wraps, there’s Avocado Grain and Almond Chicken Salad.

The pizzas are made-to-order and baked on naan. Varieties include pepperoni, chicken pesto and margherita.

“They’re quite delicious,” said Teunissen, who with her family bought the east-side coffee shop from the original owners this summer.

The menu might include the chicken salad as a salad option, and eventually there will be at least one soup every day, she said.

Dunn Brothers is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekend.
