Drybar has returned to Sioux Falls with a new franchisee.

Doors opened today in the same spot where they closed in April 2024: at Empire Place, 4101 W. 41st. St., a retail center in front of The Empire Mall.

Drybar specializes in blowouts and styling services. The salon features 12 stylist stations and four wash stations.

Franchisee Kim Perez is the new local owner for the Sioux Falls location. She’s based in Lennox, has three decades of experience as a franchisee for eight Sun Tan City locations in Iowa. She’s also the franchisee of Waxing the City’s two Sioux Falls locations, as well as three in Iowa, plus Hotworx in Mankato, Minnesota.

Hours for Drybar are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sunday.
