Downtown Sioux Falls Inc. launches search for next leader
Nov. 1, 2024
Downtown Sioux Falls Inc. has started the search for its next CEO.
The organization is looking for a leader to guide it “into a future of unprecedented growth and innovation … to shape the downtown district with a vision for sustainable economic growth, community connectivity and vibrant urban life,” DTSF said in a statement.
The new CEO will replace Joe Batcheller, who announced he’s resigning to pursue other opportunities and will depart Dec. 20.
“We are thrilled to welcome a passionate leader who will inspire the next phase of downtown’s evolution,” board chair Vaney Hariri said.
“When people ask if I could live anywhere in the world, where would I choose, my answer is always, ‘I can live anywhere, and I chose to live in downtown Sioux Falls.’ Our new CEO will play a pivotal role in helping others feel the same sense of belonging and passion to live, work and play in downtown Sioux Falls.”
DTSF encourages applicants with proven leadership experience in urban place management, economic development or civic engagement to apply. Interested candidates can learn more and apply by visiting here.
