Two downtown businesses are doing their best to fight your urge to stay home this weekend.

From 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, The Cookie Jar Eatery and Child’s Play Toys are throwing the Cabin Fever Party.

The Cookie Jar will offer cookie decorating, a bouncy house and a scooter obstacle course at Shriver Square. There’s also a $6 bratwurst, chips and cookie special and half-off a kids’ lunch with an adult meal.

Across the street on Phillips Avenue, Child’s Play Toys will offer arts and crafts, games and a story time to end the event at 3 p.m.

People are encouraged to bring a small donation for Feeding South Dakota.
