Downtown bakery Half Baked has closed.

Katie Knight and Stuart Daniel opened the cupcake shop in 2014 at 120 S. Phillips Ave. The bakery also did custom orders, including cakes, and served coffee drinks, other baked goods and SDSU ice cream.

The bakery had a going-out-of-business sale for equipment and furniture Sunday. The 3,100-square-foot space in the historic Beach Pay Building is available for lease through Raquel Blount of Lloyd Cos. Blount said there already is interest in the location.
