Marlin’s closes Minnesota Avenue restaurant
Oct. 2, 2019
Marlin’s Family Restaurant at 10th Street and Minnesota Avenue has closed.
“We are in discussions with developers to redevelop,” said Dustin Sejnoha, director of operations for Marlin’s. “More details will be forthcoming.”
The property is owned by Hard Egg Properties. That ownership group and Marlin’s are working with a third-party developer to explore options for redevelopment, Sejnoha said.
The company asked customers to visit its restaurants on North Cliff Avenue or at the Tea exit for Interstate 29. It also has five other restaurants in South Dakota and North Dakota.
The downtown Sioux Falls location opened in the summer of 2016. Before that, the building had been vacant for a few years. The site has been home to a variety of restaurants over the years.
