From staff reports
Empowering an emerging workforce will be the focus on the 2017 Diversity & Inclusion Summit, organized by the nonprofit Conscious Youth Solutions.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Holiday Inn City Centre.
“We must come together as a unified front to tackle the issues of workforce development — from business leaders, city government, the private sector, the education sector and city stakeholders — to truly come up with a community-driven solution,” said Moses Tut, president and CEO of Conscious Youth Solutions.
Speakers include Jason Ball, president of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, and Kenny Anderson Jr., a former City Council member.
Think 3D co-founders Vaney Hariri and Tamien Dysart will facilitate a workshop on workplace culture focused on the power of culture at the community level.
