The new Dillard’s definitely is starting to take shape at The Empire Mall — but it needs more workers.

“We have been amazingly impressed with the applicants we have seen — skill set and enthusiasm,” district manager Mark Galvan said.

But there’s a need for more, so the department store has added more hiring dates this week.

Walk-in applicants can stop by from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The store’s facade facing the food court is done, with more than a month to go before the grand opening. That’s scheduled for March 6.
