Kidtopia owner Sheryl Petersen is making the big Christmas buy in August and said Crazy Days is the perfect way to attract traffic and make room on her shelves.

Maurices also will feature a sidewalk sale until 3 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Clearance clothing and accessories are marked down as low as $9.9,5 and certain items are available for up to 60 percent off.

Maurices will transition to its fall inventory by the beginning of August, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
