Crisp & Green has opened on the east side of the Western Mall. The fast-casual health food franchise features customized salads and grain bowls. It also offers smoothies and blended drinks. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

National retailer BoxLunch is coming to The Empire Mall. The store specializes in pop culture-themed apparel and accessories. An opening date or location in the mall has not been announced.

A Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is planning to come to Tea. According to plans submitted to the city, it will be in a new retail building at 725 N. Heritage Parkway. The project is still waiting to award a bid to a contractor, so there’s no additional information on timing.

A locally owned all-organic gardening store has opened on the east side of Sioux Falls. Grow Organic is at 3017 E. 10th St. and is open Monday through Saturday.

Wings Gymnastics Academy will open a second location in Sioux Falls at Lake Lorraine. The center will be next to Child’s Play Toys and is expected to open Sept. 7.

Two brothers have moved their boxing gym to Sioux Falls after their business was shut down in California because of pandemic-related restrictions. 15th Round, owned by George and Evangelos Giovanis, offers boxing classes for individuals at every level.

The franchise owners of Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe have opened their second location in Sioux Falls. The new restaurant is in the food court at The Empire Mall.

The former Gage Brothers property on West 12th Street — now known as The Crossroads — has landed its first national retailer. Northern Tool + Equipment will relocate its Sioux Falls store from 2601 S. Louise Ave. to the development, where it will gain 6,500 square feet. The plan is to open in February 2022.

The new owner of a take-and-bake meal service in Harrisburg is moving the business to Sioux Falls. Emer-GenZ Eats & Treats will use the kitchen at Liberty Hall, the former VFW building at 49th and Minnesota, and sell its meals through The Fruit Truck Market, which also is located there. Nevin Icenogle bought the business from retiring founder Pam Harris. He plans to be ready to reopen the first or second week of August.

B&G Milkyway has opened in Harrisburg. It’s the third location for franchise owners Kasey and Travis Iverson, who are brothers. In addition to soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, malts, shakes, Avalanches and other frozen treats, the shop serves food such as sloppy joes, hot dogs, corn dogs and walking tacos. Milkyway is open daily.

Wendy’s has opened at Dawley Farm Village. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the dining room closing at 8 p.m. It has two drive-thru lanes, and four kiosks inside for ordering.

Vanessen’s Hair Design is adding a third location to serve male clientele. Sir by Vanessen’s will be in the East Bank Depot at 430 E. Eighth St. Services will include cuts and styling, manicures, pedicures, waxing and facials. It’s expected to open in the fall.

The new Mixx Nutrition Club will begin selling meal replacement shakes, energy teas and other healthy items Aug. 2 in downtown’s Shriver Square at 11th and Phillips. Hours will be 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.

Face Foundrie, a Minnesota-based franchise offering skin care and facial services, has leased a space at Empire Place. It’s expected to open in November.

Frontier Airlines is adding nonstop service from Sioux Falls to Las Vegas and Orlando. The Vegas route will begin Sept. 9 with service on Thursday and Sundays. The Florida flights will begin Nov. 1 with travel on Mondays and Fridays.

RNR Tire Express, which calls itself the fastest-growing tire and custom wheel franchise in the nation, is coming to Sioux Falls. Franchisees Max Pfeiffer and Kevin Weisbeck are targeting spring of next year for opening. A site hasn’t been selected yet.

A physical therapy clinic specializing in exercises for headaches and jaw pain is expected to open Aug. 9. InReach Physical Therapy will be in Prairie Hills Galleria at 69th and Western.
