Casey’s to add store in northwest Sioux Falls

Casey’s General Stores is the latest retailer to announce plans to expand in northwest Sioux Falls.
The Iowa-based gas station and convenience store purchased land at 3820 W. Benson Road, which is at the intersection with Louise Avenue.
“This will be a great location for Casey’s,” said Ryan Tysdal of Van Buskirk Cos., who represents Casey’s General Stores. “The growth in the northwest quadrant of the city is incredible.”
The proximity to many large employers and the Sanford Sports Complex was a draw for Casey’s, according to Tysdal.
“Coffee, doughnuts, pizza, sandwiches, pop – this will become a daily stop for many in the area,” he said.
It’s the second national retailer to announce plans for northwest Sioux Falls this week. Scooter’s Coffee announced it plans a drive-thru location near the new Jefferson High School.
Casey’s has 10 Sioux Falls locations with plans to also build a large Interstate 29 travel center at the Tea exit.
