Casey’s has announced plans for another location in northwest Sioux Falls.

The Iowa-based gas station and convenience store purchased land at 2310 N. Marion Road, north of Jefferson High School.

“This will be a great addition to the Jefferson neighborhood,” said Ryan Tysdal of Van Buskirk Cos., who represents Casey’s in South Dakota. “It’s exciting to see so much momentum in this area of Sioux Falls.”

Casey’s joins other retailers who have purchased land in the area, including Scooter’s Coffee and DQ Grill & Chill, which have opened, and Ace Hardware and Domino’s. The gas station will be adjacent to Fareway, which announced plans for a new Jefferson location last year.

In additional to the three Sioux Falls schools in the area, the many developing neighborhoods were a draw for Casey’s, according to Tysdal.

This will be Casey’s 15th location in the city. A timeline for construction hasn’t been announced.
