What brought you to Sioux Falls?

I moved to Sioux Falls during college.

What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

My family, our growing city, the connections I’ve made and the opportunities for young professionals.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I enjoy being able to assist and build relationships with clients. Each day brings new opportunities, and every customer need is different in its own unique way. I am constantly learning something new, and it’s been exciting to manage and grow a new branch on the east side of Sioux Falls. We share space with Coffea Roasterie, and I love having the opportunity to meet with clients over a good cup of coffee.

How did you get connected to your industry?

I have always had a passion for numbers and people. I went to college for financial services, and shortly after graduating from college in 2009, I began my career with First Bank & Trust. I have worked in different roles throughout the retail department. I started my career in the teller line, later moved into a retail banker position, and now I manage and lead a team as the branch manager at our newest location in Dawley Farms.

Describe First Bank & Trust in three words.

Loyal, relationship-driven, passionate.

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

Volunteering and donating.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

An outlet mall.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Continuing to live out my passion for people by building relationships with my clients and our community, and leading my team as we continue to grow our location and presence in the east side of Sioux Falls!
