A Brandon boutique that started as a mobile store is closing.

Owner Chrystal Rothenberger founded The Paisley Pod with her sisters out of a truck in 2015 and became the sole owner in 2016. She moved it into a storefront in 2019 in the Holly Crossing retail center in Brandon, which is at the corner of Holly and Sioux boulevards.

After announcing her going-out-of-business sale last week, merchandise sold so fast that Rothenberger shut down the store at the end of the weekend.

It’s open this week for pickup orders only.

Rothenberger said she plans to focus on her blog, Wildly You, which includes tips and stories about parenting, style, travel, health and wellness, in addition to organizing events such as yoga and hiking.

“My passions, heart and God have called me to transition out of The Paisley Pod and more fully into Wildly You,” she said in a Facebook post. “The clothes have been fun, but the relationships I’ve been able to create with many of you has truly been the best and most rewarding part of this journey.”
