The city’s newest B&G Milkyway is becoming a fast neighborhood favorite.

The location at 69th Street and Cliff Avenue opened Thursday and quickly gained crowds of treat-seeking fans.

It’s the first franchised location for Josh and Christie Aberson — though likely not the last.

“We are actively scoping out another location,” Christie Aberson said. “Nothing we can quite announce yet but are hoping to before next season kicks off.”

The new store at 6020 S. Cliff Ave. has the same menu as other locations. Customers can walk up and order from the front windows or use the double-lane drive-thru.

There’s no indoor seating, but for those who prefer to stay a bit, there’s a turfed lawn with seating and yard games.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
