What brought you to Sioux Falls?

I moved to Sioux Falls to attend Augustana University for business administration.

What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

My friends and family.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Our team.  Everyone is always in a good mood at the office, and it makes working together easy and fun!

How did you get connected to your industry?

I was researching online to learn more about the financial services companies in Sioux Falls, and I found IRA Financial Trust’s website. After reading about their self-directed IRAs, I reached out to see if I could join the team.

What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

I’ve restored multiple classic cars with my family.

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

I love eating at local restaurants. Especially during the current pandemic, I like to support local restaurants as much as possible.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

A circuit racetrack! I’m a big fan of road racing.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I see myself as a team leader for our custodian-controlled account specialists, and I’d like to move downtown.
