The most expensive residential sale for the week of April 6 was almost $1.7 million for an acreage west of Garretson.

The 4,500-square-foot two-story home was custom built in 2012 on 9 acres next to Bucher Prairie Park. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The living room features a stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings with wooden beams and abundant windows. The lower-level has a built-in sauna. A 63-by-96-foot shop includes a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment on the upper level.

Three other houses sold for more than $1 million.
