A new option for seafood has arrived in Sioux Falls

Yummy Crab has opened at 4224 W. Empire Place in the space that used to be Fazoli’s.

The restaurant’s menu features seafood by the pound or half-pound, including king crab, snow crab legs, Dungeness crab, shrimp, crawfish, clams and mussels.

Combos come with corn and potato and offer pairings of crab, shrimp, crawfish, mussels and lobster tail. Diners can choose from six flavors, including Cajun, garlic butter and lemon pepper, as well as different levels of spiciness.

There also are fried seafood options, fried rice sides and appetizers such as crab cakes, fried oysters and calamari.

This will be the ninth location for the business, which started in 2019. The next closest location is in Omaha.

Owner Yuqing Chen said many diners traveled from Sioux Falls to Omaha to eat at the restaurant, and when he saw the available space near The Empire Mall, he decided to move on it.

The menu is the same as the location in Omaha. Other locations range from Washington state to Florida and as far away as Vancouver, British Columbia.

Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
